Production Management is a service where our team helps you oversee and coordinate your garment production process. Whether you already have a supplier lined up or you're in the middle of a production run, we help manage the details - from sample tracking and quality control to shipping logistics and delivery timelines. It's like having a production coordinator on your team.
Production Management costs 2 service credits per request for Designer and Professional plan subscribers. If you don't have a subscription, you can purchase a-la-carte Production Management credits from the Credits page. Designer plan subscribers receive 10 service credits per month, so you can submit up to 5 production management requests per month. Professional subscribers receive 30, allowing up to 15.
The submission form covers everything we need to manage your production effectively:

Estimated production quantity
Supplier name, contact info, and location (if you already have one)
Current sample status
Current production stage
Whether you have a tech pack
Budget
Shipping destination and preferred shipping terms
Quality control (QC) requirements

Not necessarily. If you have an existing supplier, you can provide their name, contact information, and location in the form so our team can coordinate directly. If you don't have a supplier yet, you may want to start with a Supplier Match request (1 credit) or use our Factory Directory to find the right manufacturing partner first - then submit a Production Management request once you're ready to move into production.
If you're looking to manage production across a large number of styles (e.g., 20, 50, 80+ styles), submitting individual requests may not be the most efficient or cost-effective approach. For high-volume production management, we recommend reaching out to us directly so we can discuss a custom package tailored to your collection size, timeline, and production needs. Production Management (2 credits) focuses specifically on overseeing the manufacturing process - managing your supplier relationship, tracking samples, coordinating QC, and handling shipping logistics. Design-to-Delivery (16 credits) is the full end-to-end service that includes design, tech pack creation, pattern making, supplier matching, AND production management all bundled together. If you already have your designs and tech packs ready and just need help managing the actual production, Production Management is the right choice.
You can submit a request at any stage of production. The form includes a production stage dropdown so you can indicate where you currently are - whether you're just starting pre-production, waiting on samples, in the middle of a production run, or dealing with shipping and delivery. Our team adapts their support to wherever you are in the process.
Yes. The form has a dedicated field for quality control requirements where you can specify your standards, testing needs, inspection criteria, tolerances, and any other QC details. The more specific you are, the better we can ensure your production meets your quality standards.
The form includes a shipping terms dropdown with standard trade terms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.), plus an option to specify custom shipping terms if your arrangement doesn't fit the standard options.
Yes. There are two upload fields - one for reference images (product photos, sample images, QC reference shots) and another for documents (tech packs, PDFs, spec sheets, supplier agreements, or other supporting files).
Your credits are debited immediately, you'll receive a confirmation email, and your request status is set to "Pending." Our team reviews your submission and begins coordinating your production management. You can track the status of your request anytime from the My Requests page.
No. Once a request has been submitted and credits are debited, they are non-refundable. Please make sure all your details are accurate before submitting. If you experience a technical issue during submission, contact our support team.
Yes. You must be logged in to your ONTHEBIAS account to access the Production Management form and submit a request. If you're not logged in, you'll be prompted to log in before proceeding.
Your current credit balance is displayed at the top of the Production Management request page. You can also view all your balances on the Credits page or in ONTHEBIASTUDIO. For subscribers, the display shows your total service credits and how many Production Management requests that covers at 2 credits each.
Supplier Match (1 credit) helps you find and connect with the right factory or manufacturer for your product. Production Management (2 credits) helps you manage the actual production process once you already have a supplier — tracking samples, coordinating QC, managing timelines, and overseeing shipping. Think of Supplier Match as "find me a factory" and Production Management as "help me manage my factory."
Yes, but it depends on what kind of revision you need:
Revisions from your supplier/manufacturer (sample corrections, production adjustments, QC issues, material swaps, etc.) - we handle these directly with your supplier as part of the production process. These do NOT cost any ONTHEBIAS credits. Our team will help coordinate and communicate these revisions with your factory at no additional charge as part of your Production Management request.
Revisions to your ONTHEBIAS deliverables (changes to the production management plan, updated specs, new reference materials, revised timelines, etc.) — these can be submitted through the My Requests page and cost 1 service credit (for subscribers) or 1 revision credit (a-la-carte).
In short: if the revision involves your manufacturer doing something differently, that's between you and them - no credits needed. If you need our team to redo or update work we delivered to you, that's a revision credit.
