Do I own what's created with my service credits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything produced through a service credit request - tech packs, design files, trend reports, branding assets, and any other deliverables - is yours. You retain full rights to use, modify, and commercialize all work created on your behalf.

How do I get Service Credits?

Accepted Answer

Two ways:
(1) Subscribe - the DESIGNER plan includes 10 credits per month and the Professional plan includes 30 credits per month.
(2) Purchase credit packs starting at $49 for 1 credit, with bulk discounts up to 250 credits for $3,999.

Are my custom requests shared with anyone else?

Accepted Answer

No. Custom requests (tech packs, trend reports, design requests, etc.) are created exclusively for you. They are not shared, resold, or made available to any other user. Your submissions, uploaded files, and delivered results remain private to your account.

What are Download Credits?

Accepted Answer

Download Credits are separate from Service Credits. They are used to download digital assets from the studio libraries - design assets, croquis figures, tech pack templates, trend reports, e-books, and more. DESIGNER and PROFESSIONAL subscribers get unlimited downloads included with their plan.

Do credits expire or roll over?

Accepted Answer

Subscription credits reset each month do not roll over to the next month. Purchased credit packs remain in your account until used and do not expire.

Can I use credits without a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anyone can purchase credit packs and use them for any service without a subscription. Subscribers get monthly credits included with their plan plus unlimited studio downloads.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You can purchase additional credit packs at any time from the Credits page. Bulk packs offer better per-credit pricing - the 250-pack saves over 67% compared to buying individually. Your remaining balance is always displayed at the top of the Credits page.

Yes. If you need a custom credit volume or want to set up credits across multiple seats, reach out to our team and we'll build a package that fits your needs.

What is an RFQ?

RFQ stands for "Request for Quote". You can submit one on our platform for free (as many as you'd like) and our team of fashion experts will hand pick a number of suppliers with quotes for your project(s).

Design-to-Delivery is our most comprehensive service. We handle everything - from original design and branding through tech packs, pattern making, factory sourcing, sampling, production oversight, and final delivery. You provide the vision; we execute every step between the idea and the finished product in your hands.
Note: Service credits cover all ONTHEBIAS design work, project management, and coordination. Factory costs - including sampling, production, materials, and shipping - are quoted and paid separately directly to the manufacturer.

Submit a brief with your concept - mood boards, reference images, target market, and any specific direction - and our design team creates original, production-ready work tailored to your brand. This can include flat sketches, colorways, print design, and technical illustrations. Everything delivered is yours to use, modify, and produce.

Submit your brand vision - name, aesthetic direction, target audience, and any references - and our team builds out your visual identity. This can include logo design, brand guidelines, color systems, typography, lookbook layouts, and marketing assets. Whether you're launching a new label or refreshing an existing one, everything delivered is yours to own and use commercially.
